Periodontal Therapy

Gum disease, clinically called periodontal disease, is the primary cause of adult tooth loss in America. It causes bone and gum deterioration and has been linked to increased risk for heart attack, stroke, respiratory problems, and a host of complication for diabetics and pregnant women. When found in the early stage, called gingivitis, the Reisman Dental Group hygiene team can eradicate disease and minimize the potential for recurrence. Advanced cases, called periodontitis, may require laser dental procedures, which are more comfortable and less invasive than traditional periodontal surgery.
